Faith Resource Guides

Our team is constantly reviewing books that we think you might like to share with a special kid on topics such as church, faith practices, activism, and theology. This is where you will see a roundup of all the faithful resources we have reviewed.

Books about God

We have sourced five picture books about God that we highly recommend for caregivers and their families. Click the image to read each review and access a downloadable PDF to share.

Books about Church

Most of us have our own complex history with church, yet faith communities continue to be the primary avenue for faith teaching and expression. If you have struggled to know how to talk to your children about the value of church, this resource is for you. We have reviewed three books written for families about church--how churches work, the people there, what we can expect from church, and what we celebrate about church.

Holy Week and Easter Storybooks

Holy Week and Easter are sacred times in the church calendar. We have provided three storybook guides for Holy Week and Easter. These books help children build a relationship to the Easter story through metaphors about Holy Week and joyful storytelling about Mary's Easter morning experience.

Faith and Activism Storybooks

Check back here soon for timeline recommendations of books we recommend for connecting faith and activism for young children.
