Welcome to the
Faithful Formation
Project

Supporting parents, caregivers, pastors, and ministry professions seeking assistance in sharing their Christian faith and values to their children by providing resources, offering affordable events, and research-based information.

Hello

friend of Faithful Formation

The Faithful Formation Project is funded by a Christian Parenting and Caregiving Grant from the Lilly Endowment, awarded to Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. Our purpose is to provide resources to parents, caregivers, pastors, and ministry professionals to equip the faithful formation of the next generation. We accomplish this purpose in three ways: ResourcesEvents, and Research

Resources for faith formation are available here where parents, pastors, caregivers and ministry professionals alike can access ministerial materials, website information, guidance, and research-based, therapeutically-informed materials that empower them to communicate faith to young people.

We offer events in the form of trainings, workshops , and self-paced learning that support faith development in children and teens, that includes researched based information. These are offered both virtually and in person led by highly skilled experts in Christian formation. Check our Events page for information about upcoming opportunities!

Current research projects that are underway include two major projects lead by primary investigators, Dr. J. Bradley Wigger and Dr. Lesley Earles. Dr. Wigger's research explores the spiritual imagination of children. Dr. Earles work entitled, Faith of Our Mothers, explores the spiritual formation of daughters through their relationship with their mothers.
